Circular Materials is now responsible for recycling in our area.
Circular materials is a national not-for-profit producer responsibility organization that represents the evolution to a more circular economy where materials are collected, recycled and returned to producers for use as recycled content in new products and packaging.

Eligible sources: single family homes, multi-residential buildings, schools, seasonal dwellings, retirement & long term care homes and specified public spaces.
Non-eligible sources: Municipal buildings, industrial or commercial properties, places of worship and non-profit organizations will be picked up every Thursday.

Please note if you live in Ward 2 (former village of Stirling) you have weekly recycle and Garbage pick up on Wednesdays.

NOTICE: All garbage in Stirling-Rawdon must be in a clear bag for either residential pickup or drop off at landfill sites and a Stirling-Rawdon bag tag must be attached to each bag.
Waste Disposal Sites
Stirling – 141 Fairground Road
Rawdon – 3091 Springbrook Road
Hours of Operation: Saturdays 8:30am- 4pm
For homes in the gold shaded area of the Collection Schedule please use the Rawdon Waste Disposal Site
For homes in the burgundy shaded area of the Collection Schedule, as well as the Village of Stirling, please use the Stirling Waste Disposal Site
Bag Tags
All garbage in The Township of Stirling-Rawdon must have a red garbage bag tag attached to it for pick up. Bag tags can be purchased for $3.00 each at the following locations:
- Municipal Office
- McKeown Motors
- Pro One Stop
- Home Hardware
- Ultramar
- Shell
Large item Pickup
The Township of Stirling-Rawdon does not offer large item pick-up. Large items such as couches, chairs etc.. can be taken to the landfill site for a fee.
Yard Waste
Yard waste will be accepted at the landfill site in a biodegradable bag.
