    NOTICE: Voter List Lookup 

    Are you on the list to vote for the upcoming municipal election? 

    If you are an Ontario resident over the age of 18 you can visit registertovoteon.ca to confirm or update your information in a few easy steps! 

    registertovoteon.ca is easy to use. You can check, update, add or remove your information and/or property from the voters list. You will need to upload ID and/or other required documentation. 

    Updating this information will help to ensure that the Township's municipal Voters’ List is accurate and up-to-date in preparation for the municipal election occurring this October. 

    Find out ahead of time if you are eligible to vote. Visit registertovoteon.ca or call 1.866.242.3025. Have your say. Check today. 

    If you want to update your school support designation for the October 2026 municipal and school board elections, you can do so by June 1, 2026, through the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) portal.

  • Free Goods Exchange Day

    On Saturday May 9th place all of your items you no longer want or use at the curb for the Free Goods Exchange Day.

  • Restricted Burn Ban

    Restricted burn ban now in effect - Burning between the hours of 7:00pm to 7:00am only. 

  • Spring Leaf & Yard Waste Pick-up

    Thursday April 30th will be Leaf and Yard Waste pick up day. Please have you items in Bio-degradable bags to the curb for 7:00am.

  • 2026 Ontario Senior of the Year

    The Ontario government is proud to celebrate Seniors Month with municipalities across the province. Seniors generously give their time, knowledge and expertise making Ontario the best place in this country to live and work. It is important to take the time to celebrate our older population and acknowledge their invaluable contributions.

    For more information on how to submit a nomination online, please visit the Ontario Senior of the Year webpage. Once your nomination is submitted, a personalized certificate with your nominee’s name will be sent to you. I encourage you to present this certificate to your nominee in June during Seniors Month.

    The deadline for nominations is April 15, 2026.

  • Community Tree Giveaway

    The Township of Stirling-Rawdon Community Tree Giveaway will be on Monday May 4th.  In order to receive tree seedlings you must call the Municipal Office at 613-395-3380 to pre-book no later than Thursday April 30 by 12:00 noon. There will be a limit of 5 seedlings per household and you must be a resident of Stirling-Rawdon. Pick-up date will be on Monday May 4th at the back of the Municipal Office from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

    Available Tree Seedlings remaining:  Sycamore, White Spruce, Bur Oak, Eastern White Pine

  • Changes to Recycling and Landfill Services

    Public Notice – Changes to Recycling and Landfill Services

    The Township of Stirling-Rawdon is advising residents of upcoming changes to recycling and landfill services, anticipated to take effect April 30, 2026, pending Council approval.

    As part of these changes:

    • Recycling services will transition to curbside collection only. Recycling bins currently located at both Stirling and Springbrook landfill sites for mixed fiber and comingled recycling will be removed, and recycling will no longer be accepted at these locations after April 30, 2026.
    • Residents will be required to place recycling at the curb in accordance with the Township’s collection schedule.

    These changes are intended to streamline services and provide cost savings to the Township, while maintaining reliable waste management for residents.

    Further details, including curbside recycling guidelines and collection information, will be shared prior to implementation.
