NOTICE is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Township of Stirling-Rawdon.
Township Council
Offices for which an election is held:

Mayor: One (1) to be elected

Ward 1 Rawdon Township: Two (2) Councillors to be elected

One (1) trustee to be elected representing Centre Hastings (includes Centre Hastings, Marmora & Lake, Madoc Township and Stirling-Rawdon) Acclaimed

English Separate - Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board (ALCDSB)
One (1) trustee to be elected representing Tweed, Marmora & Lake, Hastings Highlands, Stirling-Rawdon, Bancroft, Centre Hastings, Highlands East, Faraday, Madoc, Wollaston, Limerick, Tudor & Cashel, Carlow/Mayo, South Algonquin Acclaimed

Online (Internet) & Telephone Voting
Voting in the Township of Stirling-Rawdon Municipal Election will take place commencing on Friday, October 16th at 10:00 a.m. through to Monday, October 26th, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. Eligible electors can vote online (internet) or by telephone anytime during the voting period.
Eligible voters will receive a Voter Information Letter (VIL) in the mail in October indicating online (internet) and telephone voting details.
You qualify to vote if:

You are at least 18 years on Election Day, October 26, 2026,

You are a Canadian citizen,
-
You or your spouse lives, rents, or owns property in the municipality, and
-
You are not otherwise prohibited by law from voting.
Advance Voting
Vote from anywhere, from any device, at any time:
Opens: Friday, October 16th, 2026 @ 10:00 a.m.
Closes: Monday, October 26th, 2026 @ 8:00 p.m.
Online (internet) and telephone runs continuously, 24 hours a day 7 days a week throughout the voting period. To vote online, enter the website: vote.stirling-rawdon.com as provided in your Voter Information Letter (VIL). You will be prompted to enter your unique PIN and date of birth to authenticate your identity.
By entering the electronic voting system and entering your assigned PIN and date of birth, you are declaring that you are eligible to vote in this election.
Accessibility
For voting assistance, you can attend the municipal office during operating hours (Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) within the voting period. Election Officials will be available to assist voters who require support. Please remember to bring your Voter Information Letter (VIL), along with proof of identity and qualifying address, with you.
