Office Closure September 30, 2026

On September 30, the Township of Stirling-Rawdon joins communities across Canada in observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. This important day honours the children who never returned home from residential schools, the survivors, their families and communities.

Acknowledging the painful history and ongoing intergenerational impacts of the residential school system is a vital part of our shared path toward reconciliation. We encourage all residents to take time on this day to listen, learn, reflect, and participate in local educational and commemorative events.

Please be advised that all Stirling-Rawdon municipal administrative offices and non-essential facilities will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in observance of the day.
