No Overnight Parking in Municipal Parking Lots

Dear Residents,

Due to the significant amount of snowfall recently received, the Township of Stirling-Rawdon is reminding residents that overnight parking is not permitted in municipal parking lots.

Vehicles parked overnight in municipal lots hinder essential civic services, including snow removal, sanding, and emergency access. In order to ensure public safety and allow municipal crews to effectively maintain roadways and parking areas, these restrictions must be strictly observed.

Please note that the Township of Stirling-Rawdon is not responsible for tenant or resident parking arrangements. Property owners and tenants are expected to make appropriate private parking arrangements, particularly during winter weather events.

Vehicles found parked overnight in municipal parking lots may be towed without notice and at the owner’s expense.
