  • Normal Water Conditions - Lower Trent

    Lower Trent Conservation has lifted the Level I Low Water Advisory, which started in August of 2025 as
    Level I Low Water Condition and peaked, at its most severe, as a Level III Low Water Condition in
    September of 2025. Precipitation and stream flow conditions have improved greatly over the last 3
    months of 2025. Overall, conditions have stabilized due to a return to seasonal precipitation amounts
    experienced as both rain and snow throughout the watershed.

  • Legion donation to Stirling-Rawdon Fire Department
    Over the years The Stirling-Rawdon Fire Department has been fortunate enough to be supported by our local Legion Charitable Foundation through grants. These grants have gone toward the purchase of specific medical equipment for the Fire Department to better service the community we live in, this assistance from the Legion is greatly appreciated.
    The grant received from the legion for 2025, went to the purchase of 2 Edan IM3 Vital signs monitors and 2 Laerdal Suction units. These devices will be placed in our rescue vehicles to increase our medical emergency response.

    Notice of Special Council Meeting

    Please take notice that the Council of the Township of Stirling-Rawdon will hold a Special Meeting of Council at the Township of Stirling-Rawdon Council Chambers located at 2529 Stirling-Marmora Road, Stirling, Ontario, on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the purpose of discussing the 2026 municipal budget.

  • Winter Parking Restrictions

    Residents of Stirling-Rawdon are reminded that Winter Parking Restrictions will be in effect from November 15, 2025 until April 1, 2026.

    This means parking is prohibited on all streets, highways and roads in the Township between the hours of 11:00pm and 7:00am.

    The Parking limits are in place so that winter maintenance can be completed.

  • Notice: Burn Ban lifted

    Effective immediately, the Township of Stirling-Rawdon has lifted the burn ban that was previously in place due to dry conditions. Recent improvements in weather and fire risk assessments have made it safe to resume open burning activities.

    Residents are reminded to:

    • Follow all local fire safety regulations

    • Monitor weather conditions before burning

    • Have appropriate fire suppression tools on hand

    • Never leave fires unattended

    We thank the community for their cooperation and commitment to safety during the ban.
