Joint By-law Enforcement Agreement

Stirling-Rawdon, ON – The Township of Stirling-Rawdon is pleased to announce that as of May 2020 we have established another joint service with the Town of Deseronto, the Township of Madoc, the Municipality of Tweed and the Township of Tyendinaga to enter into an agreement with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires for By-law Enforcement Services.

A By-law Enforcement Officer will work for all five municipalities and respond to complaints or concerns received through our Joint Service Administration.  As this is a new joint service, please be patient as we work through the process and move forward with enforcement of various by-laws.

We would encourage you to contact your local municipality to file your official complaint or concern with their office staff and then each municipality will forward the basis of the complaint or concern to the Joint Service Administration for the Commissionaires to follow up.

Mayor Mullin stated that he was very pleased to have another shared service agreement and looks forward to continuing our great working relationship for years to come. Welcome to the Commissionaires
