Recreation
Recreation is an
all-seasons affair in Stirling-Rawdon.
You can enjoy skating on the mill pond or hockey at our excellent
arena,
cruising the trials and skiing in the winter. In the spring, summer and
fall
you can have your choice of eight different area golf courses, or you
might
enjoy cycling, hiking and bird-watching in the countryside. Oak Lake,
just a
three minute drive from Stirling, has public beaches. You may also want
to
make a day of it and enjoy some of the best fresh water beaches in
Canada
nearby in the Sandbanks area and at Presqu'ile Park.
