Recreation

Recreation is an all-seasons affair in Stirling-Rawdon. You can enjoy skating on the mill pond or hockey at our excellent arena, cruising the trials and skiing in the winter. In the spring, summer and fall you can have your choice of eight different area golf courses, or you might enjoy cycling, hiking and bird-watching in the countryside. Oak Lake, just a three minute drive from Stirling, has public beaches. You may also want to make a day of it and enjoy some of the best fresh water beaches in Canada nearby in the Sandbanks area and at Presqu'ile Park.
